Changelog
What changed on the site, newest first. This page records what was actually published; there is no release schedule and nothing here is a promise of future work.
v1.0.0 โ 28 October 2026
The first public release: both the tool site and this documentation.
Tools
- File checksum. SHA-256 for any local file, with drag and drop, progress and timing. Files up to 256 MB use Web Crypto; larger files stream in 8 MB chunks through a built-in SHA-256. Optional expected-digest comparison that ignores case, spaces, colons and a
sha256:prefix. - JSON. Format with two-space indentation, minify, and validate with the line and column of the first syntax error.
- Base64. UTF-8 encode and decode, with an optional URL-safe alphabet; decoding tolerates whitespace and missing padding.
- URL. Percent-encode and decode a single query component, treating
+as a space on decode. - Text. Trim lines, drop blank lines, remove duplicates, sort both directions, change case, reverse lines, and live counts of lines, words and characters.
Site
- Single-page interface with keyboard-navigable tabs and no framework, build step or third-party script.
- Light and dark palettes that follow the operating system preference.
- Documentation split into overview, getting started, two guides, FAQ and this changelog.
- Strict transport security, no cookies, no analytics, no external fonts or images.
How versions work here
A version number covers the site as a whole โ markup, stylesheet, script and documentation are released together. Patch-level changes to wording or styling may ship without a new number; anything that alters a tool's behaviour gets one.
